The card currently features a pair of light heavyweights and a pair of welterweights.
Welterweights Hidetaka Monma (14-8-3) of Japan and Kim Dong Hyun (6-1) of Korea – not to be confused with UFC welterweight “Stun Gun” Dong Hyun Kim (9-4-1), though they train together - will matchup in Kim’s DEEP debut after two years fighting in South Korea and China.
Thirty-seven year old Pancrase veteran Ryushi Yanagisawa (24-23-9) of Japan will look to further his comeback after five years away from MMA and a seven-second KO to Côte d’Ivoirian Bernard Ackah (1-2) in his first fight back at DEEP 43 Impact in Tokyo last August. Yanagisawa has drawn Korean Dool Hee Lee (2-5) to try to get back in the “W” column.
