All the rumors were true. As announced yesterday on Fighters.com, UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis’ brother Sergio Pettis has been signed to a multi fight deal with the UFC. According to UFC officials, Pettis will make his octagon debut in the Bantamweight division when he takes on Vaughan Lee at UFC 167. While Pettis is 9-0 entering the octagon for the first time, Lee is coming off of a first round submission loss to Raphael Assuncao at UFC on FUEL TV 10: Nogueira vs. Werdum II.
UFC 167: St-Pierre Vs Hendricks takes place Saturday November 16 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main event, UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre will take on number one contender Johny Hendricks for all the welterweight marbles.
