Joey Beltran battling Anthony Perosh at UFC on FX 6

The UFC’s December return to Australia is starting to take shape after the addition of another bout to UFC on FX 6. According to the organization, light heavyweight finishers Joey Beltran and Anthony Perosh have agreed to face off at the event where each will look to bounce back from a recent stumble inside the Octagon.

The December 15 show is set to be headlined by a middleweight showdown between Hector Lombard-Rousimar Palhares and will also feature a fight between TUF: Australia vs. UK coaches George Sotiropoulos/Ross Pearson.

Beltran made his 205-pound debut under the UFC banner in July after some solid showings as an undersized heavyweight, though come showtime he ultimately lost a hard-fought decision to James Te Huna. “The Mexicutioner” is 14-8 in his career with eleven knockouts and has a reputation for putting the entertainment of fans above his own success in the cage.

A Closer Look at Beltran’s Last Bout

Comparably, Perosh had a three-fight winning streak snapped after suffering a seven-second knockout to Ryan Jimmo at UFC 149. The 13-7 Aussie has scored stoppages against all of the opponents he’s beaten.
