ONE FC 6: Rise Of The Kings to feature three title-fights

Premier Asian Mixed Martial Arts promotion ONE FC has released the full card for their ONE FC 6: Rise Of The Kings lineup, and, as expected, the show will feature multiple title-fights. The bouts will take place on October 6 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, featuring a trio of championship match-ups, a “super-fight”, and the bantamweight Grand Prix quarterfinals.

Since the announcement of the last ONE FC event, people have been waiting for the return of Shinya Aoki to the cage, and those in attendance on the sixth will get to see it. Aoki (30-6, 1nc) will be looking to rebound from his loss against former Bellator lightweight champ Eddie Alvarez at the show, facing Arnaud Lepont (9-1) in a superfight that Lepont asked for after beating Brian Choi at ONE FC 5.

The event will also feature the return of Melvin Manhoef (25”“9”“1) who is coming off of his first win since 2009. He will be taking on Ryo Kawamura (15-6-4) a seasoned striker holding Pancrase titles in the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.

The card will also feature the quarterfinals of the organization’s tournament to crown a bantamweight champion. Three fights will take place to determine who will go on to the next round at ONE FC 6, most notably one where Yusup Saadulaev will be taking on Kevin Belingon. Saddulaev (9-1-1) has finished 8 of his 9 wins with six of them coming by submission. He is coming off of a first round knockout via slam against Hideo Tokoro.
