Franklin will fight “Phenom” Vitor Belfort (17-8) in the main event at UFC 103 in Dallas Saturday, the third consecutive opponent whose name is as big as Franklin’s in MMA.

i agree on his answer to the 195 weight class, the last thing the UFC needs is to follow in the footsteps of boxing in which there is too many belts, i think it all gets a bit too confusing. in regards to the title i think rich has to look past the middlewight having lost twice to silva, and i feel he should look to push the 205 division and set up a rematch along the line with lyoto. id also love to see a re-match with hendo after losing a very close split decision at 93.
i think the future is still bright for rich, although he has touched on retirement i still think he holds a key role to the ufc, but at 205
nice interview, rich is a really nice guy and i cant wait to see him in more fights
