Rogerio Nogueira fights alongside brother “Minotauro” at UFC 140
By: Jack Burton Posted On: September 10, 2011 at 2:00pmBrazilian fans, rejoice! After more than a five year gap, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will again compete on the same card as twin brother Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
According to an official announcement from the UFC, “Little Nog” will face Tito Ortiz at UFC 140 in Toronto alongside a match-up between a December 10 dance between former heavyweight title-holders “Minotauro” Nogueira and Frank Mir.

Nogueira has defeated a number of notable peers in his ten-year career including Alistair Overeem and Dan Henderson but is only 2-2 in the UFC after dropping back-to-back decisions to Ryan Bader and most recently Phil Davis this past March. However, prior to the skid he’d found success in seven straight and holds an overall record of 19-5.
“The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” will also be coming off a loss when he faces Nogueira this winter after falling short in his short-notice scrap against Rashad Evans last month at UFC 133. Previously Ortiz had tapped out TUF 8 winner Ryan Bader in surprisingly easy fashion in July meaning the UFC 140 fight will be his third in the last six months.
UFC 140 is also set to feature Claude Patrick vs. Rich Attonito and Rory MacDonald vs. Brian Ebersole.
