When Anthony Pettis debuted at WEC 41 and made quick work of his opponent in a first round submission, it began a now storied run through both the WEC and the UFC. His WEC run culminated in one of the best fights to ever take place in the WEC cage when he was able to take Benson Henderson’s lightweight title in the last fight to ever have happened in the promotions history. Now that he is set to rematch Henderson at UFC 164: Henderson Vs Pettis II, the UFC has released a retrospective which will give fans a brief overview of what the 26 year old Pettis has accomplished to date.
UFC 164: Henderson Vs Pettis II takes place August 31 at the HMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee. Also confirmed for the card are heavyweights Frank Mir and Josh Barnett and featherweights Clay Guida and Chad Mendes.
