The troops are in for a treat when the UFC touches down in Fort Campbell. The UFC has announced that Featherweights Nik Lentz and Dennis Bermudez have signed to duke it out. Lentz is 3-0 since he dropped from lightweight to featherweight with his most recent win coming against Hacran Dias at UFC On FX in Brazil. While Bermudez lost his featherweight debut, he has since gone 4-0 with his most recent win coming against Max Holloway at UFC 160.
UFC Fight For The Troops, also known as UFC Fight Night 31, takes place on November 6 at Fort Campbell in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. While no main event has named, many expect the main event to be Lyoto Machida Vs Tim Kennedy. This is the third time the UFC is hosting a Fight For The Troops, and the proceeds from the event will benefit injured soldiers returning from overseas.
