Sounds like the UFC finally got Vitor Belfort to agree to a fight. The UFC announced on UFC Tonight that Belfort will square off against Dan Henderson in a rematch of a PRIDE bout from 2006 in which Henderson won via unanimous decision. While a weight class hasn’t been determined for the bout, they expect the fight to take place on November 9 at UFC Fight Night 32. It’s important to note that while Belfort has won his last two bouts Henderson is coming off of two straight losses.
Belfort has been demanding a title shot and has been refusing fights left and right, it even prompted UFC President Dana White to comment that “Belfort is his own matchmaker now,” but now it sounds like they finally found a fight he is ok with. UFC Fight Night 32 takes place at the Goiânia Arena in Goiânia, Brazil, and this bout is being targeted ad the main event.
