Following his decision loss last night at RFA 9, Jeff Curran retired from fighting. Curran fought a hard five rounds against Pedro Munhoz, but it was Munhoz who ended up on the winning side of a unanimous decision win. Curran walks away from the sport with a record of 34-16-1, but don’t expect him to be leaving MMA altogether. Curran will still run his gym in Illinois and will still be a part of his brother Pat’s camp. In a tweet that went out early this morning, Curran said that he had a broken hand, but he appreciated all the love and support he has been getting from family and friends.
Curran tweeted this morning:
I have a broken right hand and hard to reply. thank u all for having my back! God Bless.
