UFC lightweight Donald Cerrone’s ranch appears to be destined for an upgrade or two in the coming weeks after the 29-year old scored a pair of bonuses for his performance against Melvin Guillard in the co-headlining clash at UFC 150. Cerrone finished Guillard a little more than a minute into their match-up after nearly tasting defeat himself due to a well-placed punch from his powerful adversary.
Cerrone’s strike-based stoppage of Guillard was named Knockout of the Night, earning him $60,000 as a result, while the bout was also awarded Fight of the Night honors (worth $60,000 for each man).
Meanwhile, Submission of the Night was handed to undercard competitor Dennis Bermudez who tapped out Tommy Hayden with less than twenty seconds remaining in the opening round of their rumble. Like the other event-specific honors, the bonus from Bermudez’s Guillotine Choke finish was also worth $60,000.
