While most have had mixed feelings on the matter, Dana White says good for Roger, following a video leaked by TMZ, revealed that former UFC competitor Roger Huerta was in the midst of an outside bar-brawl in Austin, Tex., early Saturday morning.
The aforementioned video clearly features a black male, sucker punch a female in a blue dress from behind, knocking her out unconscious. Huerta, who competed in the UFC’s lightweight division from 2006 till 2009, witnessed the cowardly attack and approached the man. From there, all hell broke loose, as once the camera man wielding what appears to be a cell phone, was able to track down the brawl that ensued between said man and Huerta, before panning back to find the man laid out on the floor, bloodied and incoherent.
I say, good for Roger, and Dana White says so, too.
“In no way do I condone street fighting, but when a guy puts his hands on a woman he deserves to be knocked the(expletive) out. Good for Roger”, said Dana White to the TMZ crew, giving his view on the situation.
Dana White seems to be in the majority–thinking that Roger was justified.
No charges or arrests have been made yet.
