I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say Andrei was close to victory versus Fedor, but he was holding his own. I hesitate to accuse Fedor of getting lucky. He’s won too many times to be getting lucky. He’s that good that, when faced with a guy handling him, he’s patient and accurate enough to land that death blow that left Arlovski unconcious.

Fedor got lucky.I watched that fight over and over and Arlovski caught him twice,unfortunately Fedor took advantage of Arlovskis mistake with the flying knee the second time and layed him out.Tough break,but Arlovski was clearly close to a victory against Fedor.

I can tell you first hand that Andrei Arlovski is a true champion and he is all about the fans. He has gone the same route as fighters such as Chuck Liddell as far as his career is concerned, and has done nothing less than do his best to put on a great fight for the fans. You all know that when Andrei was knocking out Cabbage, knocking out Rothwell, knocking out Big Country, knocking out Paul Buentello, etc…you all enjoyed watching it, Do not show disrespect to this caliber of athlete. I can’t believe how many idiots comment in these forums.
