Cat Zingano will return to action later this year, taking on Amanda Nunes in a female bantamweight bout at UFC 178 on September 27.
Zingano, who was proclaimed the No. 1 contender last year before suffering a serious knee injury, recently responded to comments made by Nunes.

Zingano (8-0) earned her fourth straight finish when she defeated Miesha Tate in early 2013. The win moved her into a title fight with Ronda Rousey and spot on The Ultimate Fighter as a coach. However, once the injury occurred, “Alpha” was forced to pull out.
