Josh Neer signs four-fight deal with the UFC

Well-rounded welterweight Josh Neer may have fallen the last time he stepped into the Octagon but it looks like “The Dentist” will have a chance to redeem himself inside the infamous eight-sided cage after signing a new four-fight contract. Neer is 2-1 since recently returning to the UFC including a pair of finishes against Keith Wisniewski and Duane Ludwig.

Neer is not currently linked to any upcoming bouts.

News of the deal was first reported by MMAJunkie.

The 29-year old Neer holds an overall record of 33-11-1 including 29 wins featuring some form of finish. Among the past opponents he’s beaten are the likes of Din Thomas, Mac Danzig, Joe Stevenson, and Melvin Guillard. He has not fought since a June loss to Mike Pyle.
