Set for September 13 from the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, the card currently does not have a bout attached to it. It is expected to air as the lead-in to The Ultimate Fighter 20 and air on FOX Sports 1.
Silva (18-5) has split his two UFC fights, with both losses coming to Cain Velasquez via TKO. He was suspended for failing his post-fight drug test for elevated levels of TRT following a draw with Mark Hunt in Australia in December.
Arlovski (22-10) made his return to the Octagon recently, defeating Brendan Schaub. The former UFC heavyweight champion has won three straight and six of seven overall, with the lone loss being a decision defeat to Anthony Johnson in the World Series of Fighting.
Back in 2010, Silva earned a decision victory over Arlovski while both were members of the Strikeforce roster. Silva followed that win up with a pair of second round stoppage victories over Mike Kyle and Fedor Emelianenko.
Arlovski fought just once more for Strikeforce after the loss, suffering a knockout defeat to Sergei Kharitonov.
