UFC President Dana White has now confirmed that UFC Doctors have checked out Anthony Pettis’s bum knee, and contrary to Pettis’ Therapist, he won’t be able to train for another 6 weeks. Pettis was set to fight UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163, but he sustained a knee injury while training. UFC Officials confirmed the news to ESPN. Fans were hoping he would be ready to fight on UFC 164, but those plans have been nixed. The UFC hasn’t commented on what might be next for Pettis.
