The Octagon is headed back to the U.K. this fall with an event sure to boast a number of British fighters including a pair of competitors already attached to the lineup. The show will mark the first time the UFC has been back to the region since stopping in Birmingham, England this past November.
According to an official announcement, the card will be held on September 29 in Nottingham. It is still unknown if the festivities will involve a full slate of free fights or be a PPV.
In addition to the basics, the UFC also revealed bouts between Andy Ogle-Akira Corassani and Brad Pickett-Yves Jabouin. Ogle and Corassani, lightweights, are both former Ultimate Fighter contestants with the former hailing from England with each being known for stopping opponents with strikes. Meanwhile, the 21-6 Pickett will do his best to make his fellow Brits proud by taking out fellow bantamweight Jabouin, no easy feat considering the Canadian owes eleven of his eighteen total wins to TKO finishes.
