Strikeforceâ€™s next show is coming together and appears to be one of their stronger offerings as of late with two title-fights and a number of other interesting match-ups featuring notable competitors. Earlier today the organization announced three new fights including Pat Healy-Mizuto Hirota, Jordan Mein-Tyler Stinson, and Jason High-Nate Moore.
The July 14 card is headlined by middleweight champion Luke Rockhold defending his belt against Tim Kennedy with a co-main featuring Nate Marquardt-Tyron Woodley mixing it up for the vacant welterweight strap. Other clashes include Keith Jardine-Roger Gracie and Lorenz Larkin-Robbie Lawler.
Healy has won his last four fights and is likely in line for a crack at lightweight champ Gilbert Melendezâ€™s belt with a win over Hirota, a Japanese fighter who has held gold in a number of organizations.
Mein is 24-8 with twenty finishes with Stinson nearly mirroring the numbers at 23-8 with 21 stoppages.
High has won six straight but will have his hands full against Moore who trains out of AKA and has finished seven of the eight opponents heâ€™s beaten.
