More than $1,200,000 paid out in salary at UFC 146

This past weekend’s PPV for UFC 146 was a huge undertaking, literally, with a lineup featuring five heavyweight fights and more than a ton of talent on display. Now it appears the proverbial paycheck Zuffa had to cut for the group was equally large with more than six zeroes attached.

According to the NAC, top earners included headliners Frank Mir and Junior dos Santos, who each made $200,000, as well as Cain Velasquez who matched their salaries thanks to a $100,000 win bonus.

A few other fighters were pushed into the six-figure range thanks to performance-based awards including Roy Nelson ($110,000), Stefan Struve ($128,000) and Dan Hardy ($120,000).

$70,000 Bonuses Handed Out to Quartet of UFC 146 Winners

The total disclosed payroll was a little over $1.2 million.
