It’s Memorial Day Weekend and, hopefully, people are showing some love for the troops in-between grilling and chilling with friends. Rebellion MMA Radio is honoring the holiday on this Sunday night’s show with a lineup featuring a trio of talented fighters who have also spent time in the military.
Joining hosts Mitch Ciccarelli (who is enlisted in the Air Force) and Bryan Levick will be UFC featherweight Marcus Brimage, submission-savvy Chad Robichaux, and iron-tough grappler Liz Carmouche.
Brimage is 5-1 in his career including a pair of wins in the Octagon since entertaining fans as one of the most memorable members of the Ultimate Fighter 14 cast. He is currently an active-duty Air Guardsman.
Robichuax has spent time in Bellator and Legacy FC along the way to a 12-2 record with eleven submissions. He is also a former Marine who works with veterans experiencing PTSD in addition to running one of the top BJJ schools in Texas.
Carmouche made a name for herself in Strikeforce and recently ran her professional mark to 6-2 with a first-round finish at Invicta FC 1. She too is a former Marine and has spent time in Iraq.
Interested listeners can also contribute to the show by submitting questions for guests via Twitter or email (RebellionMMARadio@yahoo.com).
Things start at 6:30 PM EST on Sunday. Make sure to tune in to hear the hosts break down UFC 146, talk some current events, and offer up takes on the sacrifices countless brave men and women have made in service to their countries.
