Allteeth great point my error.. I was trying to help.. constructively.

I'll use other private methods to help out in the future instead of doing it publicly. Since I have no affliation with Fighters.com and am just a regular member here, I was just trying to help.

My apologies to Chad.. I felt that sprinkling some assistance with some really positive comments, that it would not really come off badly, and it did. My mistake.

In the future I will refrain from doing so..

Once again I would like to thank Chad for an excellent report.

The thing about Machida is....
An ability to defend like a top boxer and not a wrestler.
He doesn't go backwards, only forward and side to side. That is why is seemed that he was not "tangled" up as Ortiz would have liked.
Grapplers sprawl, legs out the back, forcing a tie up and eventually a ground altercation.
Not so with a boxer who "turns a corner" in order to keep the power from being developed in your opponents punches and taking away angles.
Machida was jaw droppingly good at this last night. While "Ace" has a similar style, I believe the younger and more technical Machida will be too much for the honorable veteran.
BJ Penn dominating is no suprise to me. I consider him one of the greatest of all time, and almost certainly the current best lb. for lb. mma fighter on earth.
What is suprising is that he didn't even bother taking Sherk to the ground. He beat him with the stand up, and he did it all without breaking a sweat.
Let the naysayers be damned. BJ is fit, focused and will kick your ass. The "Prodigy" has refound his "Passion" again. All hail.

Hey Orlando, If you really want to contribute your editing skills try other means of contacting writers besides the open discussions. No one wants to see it but you.
The nickname "Samuray" is spelled correctly. It is not the word samurai, but a nick name for Antonio "Samuray" Mendes. If you like you can take it up with him.

Thanks for the offer.. but if you check the dictionary you will find this C&P..

spell, spelt, spell·ing.
–verb (used with object) 1. to name, write, or otherwise give the letters, in order, of (a word, syllable, etc.)
2. (of letters) to form (a word, syllable, etc.)

Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1)

I make mistakes from time to time as well.. it is why bigger publications have copy writers to proof read. I meant my comments as constructive feedback they weren't intended to offend.

It is how us writers improve nonetheless.

Great piece on the fights. I was surprised by BJ not getting it to the ground. I thought he'd want to allow/take it there for a submission--though I thought he pwned Sherk anyway.

Tito and Jenna will be a reality TV hit soon. It's just perfect for a terrible show to be made.

Thanks Orlando. If I need a proofreader, I'll be in touch.

By the way, "spelt" is spelled "spelled".

This is an excellent site but Dude you shouldn't let bias affect your report to the extent that you did..

Machida might fight a style that is foreign to others.. but he doesn't run from the fight.. he was faking and countering everything his opponent threw at him.. I am a big Ortiz fan but Machida took him apart and frustrated Ortiz just like Dana planned.. he took the big payday away from Tito elsewhere.. in a recent Interview I conducted with Frank Shamrock he said exclusively Tito was on the cards for "The Legend," but now it looks like Tito has to save face with the UFC and stay or else it just looks like he is a cast-off.
Kudos to Dana.. who is the bitch now as Tito's T-shirt proclaimed (Dana is my bitch) at the weigh-ins!

Also there was an error you had it UD 30-29.. it was 30-27 on all 3 judges cards, you also in your assessment scored one round to Tito? In which round do you actually think Tito controlled any part of?

Also the flying knee part that Machida followed him to the mat.. was a knockdown.. and nearly resulted in a finish.

Samaray is spelt Samurai...

All in all a great report and good picks..

although it was a mistake to bet against the Axe Murderer who was in phenomenal shape..
