Set for July 26 from the SAP Center in San Jose, the card currently does not have a main event. Other key bouts announced include Anthony Johnson vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Josh Thomson vs. Michael Johnson.
Guida (31-14) rebounded from the first stoppage loss of his career by earning a decision over Tatsuya Kawajiri in Abu Dhabi this past April. Last August, he was finished by Chad Mendes.
Since moving down to the featherweight ranks, “The Carpenter” has gone 2-1, having also defeated Hatsu Hioki. Prior to that, he dropped back-to-back decisions to Gray Maynard and Benson Henderson, but does own a victory over current UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.
Bermudez (13-3) will be looking to earn a win over a marquee name and add to his six-fight win streak. In March, he finished Jimy Hettes at UFC 171, and also owns wins over Steven Siler, Max Holloway, Matt Grice, Tommy Hayden and Pablo Garza since a three-fight losing streak that included back-to-back submission losses to Jordan Rinaldi and Diego Brandao in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 14.
The main card will air on FOX, while prelims are expected for both FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
