Luke Barnatt, an alum of The Ultimate Fighter, was involved in a car accident on Saturday. Barnatt will face Sean Strickland later this month at UFC Fight Night: Mousasi vs. Munoz.
Barnatt posted a picture of the damage done from the incident, which shows his car off the ditch.
“Sean Strickland almost got lucky,” Barnatt wrote, “but I’ll still see you at UFC Berlin.”
Barnatt (8-0), a native of Cambridge, England, advanced to the quarterfinals of The Ultimate Fighter. He has earned three UFC victories, including back-to-back finishes over Mats Nilsson (TKO) and Andrew Craig (submission).
The 26-year-old Barnatt, nicknamed “Bigslow” was the first pick of head coach Chael Sonnen on the season of TUF that aired last year. He defeated Gilbert Smith in his preliminary fight before falling to Andrews.
Since turning pro in 2011, the Brit has earned three wins by knockout and three more via submission.
