After UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones defended his title against Chael Sonnen at UFC 159 in Newark, New Jersey, the future of the division’s title picture hinged on the toe of the champion. In a report on UFC Tonight it was announced that the injury wasn’t as bad as previously thought, and in fact the bone wasn’t even broken it was dislocated. While it is still unknown how long Jones will be on the sideline, but Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Robert Klapper discussed a possible timetable for the champ.
