Clay Guida Injured, Search For An Opponent For Chad Mendes Begins

UFC featherweight Clay Guida has been injured, and is off  of  the UFC On FOX 7 card scheduled for April 20. Guida was a replacement opponent for Manny Gamburyan who was originally scheduled to fight Chad Mendes, and according to multiple reports the  UFC is searching for a new opponent but the search isn’t going well.

Sherdog originally posted the story. UFC On FOX 7: Henderson Vs Melendez takes place Saturday April 20 at the  HP Pavilion in San Jose, California. The main event will feature a lightweight title bout between Defending Champion Benson Henderson and Defending Strikeforce Champion Gilbert Melendez who will be  making octagon debut.
