UFC 113: "Mexicutioner" Joey Beltran Returns Versus Chad Corvin

UFC heavyweight “Mexicutioner” Joey Beltran (11-3) will return from his successful Octagon debut versus UFC rookie Chad Corvin (6-0) at UFC 113 in Montreal May 8, the UFC announced.

Beltran became a Fighters.com favorite after stopping Rolles Gracie (3-1) at UFC 109 in Las Vegas February 6. Beltran was a last-minute replacement for Mustapha Al-Turk (4-4) and wasn’t given much chance to defeat the much-hyped Gracie.

Corvin enters his Octagon debut versus Beltran off a doctor stoppage TKO over Scott Barrett (9-1) at XFC 7 in Knoxville in February 2009.
