Sam Stout Fighting Isaac Vallie-Flagg at UFC 161

Canadians will be happy to hear another one of their own will see action on June 15 at UFC 161 when the Octagon rolls through Winnipeg, Manitoba, as lightweight Sam Stout has been booked for a bout against Strikeforce veteran Isaac Vallie-Flagg. Stout saw action against another fighter from the since-scrapped promotion in his most recent rumble too, scoring a Split Decision against Caros Fodor a few weeks ago at UFC 157.

UFC officials have announced the match-up’s addition to the summer show.

Stout (19-8-1) has won four of his last six scraps and owns victories over the likes of Yves Edwards, Matt Wiman, and Joe Lauzon. Comparably, Vallie-Flagg (14-3-1) has had his hand raised in five straight fights including those against Edwards and Gesias Cavalcante.
