Strikeforce Fighters to appear on MTV

Strikeforce is doing all it can do in order to push their promotion and as they prepare for the second event on network television they have some fighters looking to make a splash on MTV.

Strikeforce fighters “Big” Lavar Johnson (11-3), “Mayhem” Jason Miller (22-6), “Hands of Steel” Scott Smith (16-6) and “The Punk” Josh Thompson (16-3) will be featured on the next two episodes of MTV’s “Rock N Jock Countdown” which brings in popular athletes to a music video countdown show.

The first episode airs Saturday at 11 am EST and the second show will air at the same time on March 13.

According to Strikeforce the fighters will be on the show to count down the top five videos as well as to promote the sport of mixed martial arts and demonstrate some techniques.

Miller, Johnson. Smith and Thompson will be joined by the Strikeforce ring girls.

This will not be the first time Miller has appeared on MTV as his show “Bully Beatdown” was a hit on the network and was just picked up for a third season.
