According to his management, former UFC heavyweight Soa Palelei (18-3) has re-signed with the UFC. Palelei last fought in the UFC at UFC 79 against Eddie Sanchez where he lost by technical knockout. Since that loss, he has gone 10-1 including an 8 fight win streak. In his 8 fight win streak, only one fighter made it into the second round. The early rumor is that his first fight back in the UFC will be against Stipe Miocic.
Soa Palelei released this statement via his management:
“I’m thankful to UFC President Dana White and Joe Silva for giving me this opportunity to come back to the UFC to showcase my skills. With determination, hard work and a great team, I’m happy to say that today I have signed with the UFC. I look forward to competing in the best organization in the world.”
