Tim Kennedy Making UFC Debut Against Roger Gracie in Brazil

Middleweight Tim Kennedy has been anxious to see action in the Octagon for a long time and will finally get his wish thanks to a May match-up with Roger Gracie. Adding to the intrigue, the bout is set to unfold in Brazil at UFC on FX 8.

The card is set to feature the last man to beat Kennedy, Luke Rockhold, in the main event where he’ll face Vitor Belfort.

Brazilian outlet Porto de Vale Tudo was first to report the rumble.

Kennedy holds an overall record of 15-4 with thirteen finishes, while Gracie is 6-1 with five submissions to his credit. Both men emerged successful in their most recent tilts and should be able to earn solid standing in the UFC’s 185-pound pool with a victory.
