Charlie Brenneman closed off 2012 with 2 losses and being cut from the UFC. Brenneman committed himself to dropping to the lightweight division and has already picked up his first win in the new weight class. Brenneman defeated Eric Irvin in the second round by rear naked choke at VFL 40, and is already looking for a new fight as soon as he can get one. Among other things, Brenneman is enjoying the size advantage he typically never had before.
