Polish mixed martial arts promotion KSW has announced that World’s Strongest Man competition champion Mariusz Pudzianowski (1-0) will compete at KSW XIII in Kawovice May 7, according to MMA Junkie.
Pudzianowski’s appearance May 7 puts into doubt a potential matchup versus former UFC heavyweight champion “Maine-iac” Tim Sylvia (25-6) at Moosin in Worchester April 23, just two weeks before KSW XIII.
The potential of the matchup between Sylvia and Pudzianowski was confirmed to MMA Junkie by Sylvia’s manager Monte Cox, though Cox cautioned that no contract had been signed.
