Strikeforce's Fedor Emelianenko, Jake Shields Likely Heading to Nashville According to Report

Fighters.com Heavyweight Champion “Last Emperor” Fedor Emelianenko (31-1) might fight next for Strikefore in Nashville on April 17, according to an MMA Junkie Report.
Emelianenko will likely fight ninth-ranked “Vai Cavalo” Fabricio Werdum (12-4-1) . Also likely is a matchup between Strikeforce light heavyweight champion “Dreamcatcher” Gegard Mousasi (24-2-1) and “King Mo” Muhammed Lawal (4-0). And, second-ranked Strikeforce middlweight champion Jake Shields (24-4-1) announced Tuesday at MMA Weekly that he’ll take on a challenge from third-ranked “Hollywood” Dan Henderson (25-7).
Shields also told MMA Weekly he knows the date and the venue, but wouldn’t elaborate.
Sports Illustrated has alternatively reported that Strikeforce is considering holding the CBS-broadcast event on April 24 in California.
