Gray Maynard Mixing It Up with T.J. Grant at UFC 160

A solid scrap between talented lightweights has joined the lineup for the UFC’s annual Memorial Day Weekend event in the form of a fight featuring Gray Maynard-T.J. Grant. Both men are coming off wins and like to strike despite having high-level grappling credentials.

UFC officials have confirmed the clash will take place on May 25 at UFC 160. The card is headlined by a heavyweight title-fight between Cain Velasquez-Antonio Silva with other interesting match-ups in store such as Glover Teixeira-Ryan Bader and Junior dos Santos-Alistair Overeem.

Maynard (11-1-1) was last seen outpointing Clay Guida, adding to other notable wins on his record including those over Roger Huerta, Jim Miller, Frankie Edgar, Kenny Florian, and Nate Diaz. Comparably, Grant is 20-5 with a 4-0 mark in the lightweight division and sixteen stoppages to his credit.
