UFC 110: Anthony Perosh Replaces Ben Rothwell Versus Mirko Cro Cop
By: Fighters.com Staff Posted On: February 19, 2010 at 9:23am
“Hippo” Anthony Perosh (10-5) will replace “Big” Ben Rothwell (29-5) versus “Cro Cop” Mirko Filipovic (23-6-2) at UFC 110 in Sydney February 20.
The Aussie Perosh enters the fight on a day’s notice after Rothwell was pulled from an intersting matchup with an illness.
Perosh had a brief and wholly unsuccessful 0-2 stint in the UFC in 2006, but steps in versus Cro Cop off of a TKO win over Kym Robinson (5-4) at Rize 3 in Australia December 5.
Thirty-five-year old Filipovic embarassingly verbally submitted to Fighters.com’s fifth-ranked heavyweight ”Cigano” Junior dos Santos (9-1) at UFC 103 in Dallas September 19.
