UFC middleweight Michael Bisping has lost five times including a few closely-contested, even controversial decisions. However, he’s never lobbied for a rematch with any of the adversaries who have left a blemish on his record…that was, until now.
Bisping went on record at a recent Q&A with fans in London for UFC on Fuel 7, calling for another crack at Vitor Belfort. According to his statements, captured by MMAJunkie, “The Count” feels he has more to offer than what he showed when he lost by strikes to Belfort late last month. He also appears to have an issue with the fact Belfort was allowed to use testosterone replacement therapy leading up to the tilt despite getting busted for testosterone abuse back in 2006.
“The referee stopped the fight. Fair play to him, congratulations. He was the better man on the night. But I was completely fine when I went down, I think the referee stopped it too soon, and I’d love a rematch someday.”
“He’s been busted for that in the past, and now he’s allowed to put steroids into his asshole. What can I say? He’s a f*cking cheat. But I do want a rematch with the guy.”
