UFC On FX 8 Set For May 18 In Brazil

The UFC is headed back to Brazil! As reported, a fight between Brazilian Vitor Belfort and Strikeforce Champion Luke Rockhold was announced this week at a press conference. We now have a name and date for the event, as UFC on FX 8 will take place May 18 at the Jaragua Arena in Santa Catarina Jaragua do Sul.

Tatame is reporting:

“Two representatives (from the UFC) toured the Arena in mid-January. We showed them the inner space, living quarters, locker rooms, emergency exits, TV and radio booths. They made a general survey.There is nothing documented, but there is a verbal agreement, reserving the 18th of May. It would be good for the city host the event,” said Claudio Tubbs, manager of the local administration.
