UFC officials have confirmed that the grudge match between former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem will finally take place. Many pundits assumed this fight would have happened already and would have been for the division’s top spot. However, a positive drug test from Overeem and knockout loss, not to mention Dos Santos losing his belt to Cain Velasquez, prevented that.
Now, the two are set to fight a UFC 160 scheduled for May 25 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
UFC Tonight announced the bout, also confirming Velasquez will meet Antonio Silva in a rematch of their 2012 tilt though this time the winner leave the Octagon with the heavyweight title strapped around his waist.

Yeah, let’s see if Overeem makes it roid-free till then. He looked baaaad at UFC 156.
Sweet! Makes total sense.
