Diego Brandao Battling Pablo Garza at UFC on Fuel 9

Ultimate Fighter 14 winner Diego Brandao has only fought in the Octagon three times but made a memorable impression in all of the bouts, bringing an all-out brawling style beloved by fans. While he’s only 1-1 since coming out as the last man standing on his season of the UFC’s reality franchise, it looks like the heavy-handed Brazilian will have a chance to improve the mark on April 6 in a bout against submission-specialist Pablo Garza.

Swedish outlet MMANytt has reported Brandao-Garza will give it a go against one another at UFC on Fuel 9. The show, slated for Stockholm, features Alexander Gustafsson meeting Gegard Mousasi in hopes of securing a title-shot.

Brandao (15-8) has finished twelve of the foes he’s defeated including eight by way of strikes. Likewise, Garza has scored the bulk of his wins with a stoppage, going 12-3 with nine victories coming before scorecards came into play.
