Greg Jackson: “I’ve worked with Bellator before…”

Everyone knew all about the bad blood between Randy Couture and UFC President Dana White before the Bellator press conference announcing a new reality show involving “The Natural” called Fight Masters. But most people were not expecting to see the owner of Jackson’s Mixed Martial Art’s owner Greg Jackson mixed up in things. Jackson will be one of four coaches on the new television series and many are wondering if he will draw the same ire as Couture.

According to White, Couture won’t even be able to buy a ticket to a UFC event, but will Jackson get the same treatment? Jackson says no.

He told MMAJunkie:

“Like Randy [Couture], I’ve worked with Bellator before, my fighters are my fighters. I think it’s good for the sport. Even Dana [White] would admit it’s good for the sport to have other organizations around, so I don’t foresee any problems. The important thing is you can help as many people as you can help. This gives all of us, really, an opportunity to help these young fighters, up-and-coming, that work hard and deserve to have a place to showcase their skills. It’s great that they have this place.”
