UFC 156: Aldo vs. Edgar Salary Information

This past Saturday night’s lineup for UFC 156 delivered an entertaining effort and rightfully so considering the amount of money dished out at the event. Salary information for the card has been released and, blowing most shows out of the water, six fighters earned six-figure paydays.

According to a list obtained by Yahoo Sports, light heavyweight Rashad Evans came out on top with $300,000. However, he nearly was surpassed by 145-pound champion Jose Aldo thanks to a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus the Brazilian earned for his showing against Frankie Edgar in the evening’s main event. Aldo made $240,000 up front for the victory.
