The Octagon returns to São Paulo, Brazil this Saturday night for the first time since 1998 for UFC on FX: Belfort vs. Bisping. In the main event, Vitor Belfort and Michael Bisping will square off for a five-round scrap with possible title implications, and you can watch all the action on FX. CJ Keith vs. Francisco Trinaldo
Round 1 (Ref. Marc Goddard)
Trinaldo is coming forward early, and Keith is being careful because he wants it on the the outside. Trinaldo lands a nice overhand right, and clinches with Keith on the fence. Trinaldo pulls Ketih down with a nice body lock. Trinaldo moves into half guard, and then right into mount. Trinaldo postures up and lands some punches, but Keith scrambled and ends up on top. Trinaldo grabs an arm from the bottom, but Keith manages to escape and get up.Keith pulls Trinaldo down, and is working for a kimura. Trinaldo escapes, and is on top working towards mount. Keith does a much better job tieing up Trinaldo and the round ends.

Round 2
Keith comes to the middle, and Trinaldo is fainting on the outside. Trinaldo lands a nice overhand right, and then after making Keith miss on a kick, he clinches on the fence. Trinaldo working for the takedown, and gets a huge suplex. He moves right into mount, and locks up a head an arm choke. Keith is forced to tap.

Both fighters go right to the center and start trading. Prado is doing a great job of landing jabs and hooks and backing up Alcantara. Alcantara had enough of that and begins to clinch. Yjey separate and Alcantara is landing body kicks and leg kicks. Prado is having a hard time finding the distance to land on Alcantara consistently. Alcantara eats a nice left hook from Prado. Both fighters feeling each other out now. Prado opens up and starts landing shots, but Alcantara weathers the storm and is using his reach keeping Prado on the outside. Alcantara is having success with a step knee when Prado comers close. 30 seconds left, Alcantara gets the takedown, and Prado is tying him up. Ref stands them up, they exchange in the closing seconds, and Prado lands a knee at the bell.

Prado comes out and he is throwing HEAVY leather. The body head combination is paying off for Prado. Alcantara gets the takedown, and Prado works from half guard. Alcantara had a chance at a Darce choke, but Prado does well and escapes. Alcantara rolls for a leg lock, and after not getting a heel hook, he switches to a knee bard and Prado taps. Ugly looking knee bar too, have to assume knee damage.

Alcantara takes the center early, and is looking to end this early with a flying knee. Nobre lands a knee to the groin and they stop the action. Back to work, Nobre is landing heavy shots, even a nice right hook, and shoots for a takedown. Alcantara grabs a kimura on Nobre but he does a great job rolling and escaping. Shocked he didn’t tap to that. Alcantara is riding Nobre’s back and landing shots. Ref stops the action for shots to the back of the head. Nobre is face down on the canvas, and it looks like they are going to stop the fight. They don’t look like they landed to the back of the head.

Round 1
Both come to center, and are feeling each other out with leg kicks. Martins is the one coming forward, but he is eating punches. Martins takes a kick to the pills, and they stop the action. Barboza coming forward and landing combinations, and making Martins look slow. Martins lands a few jabs and slows Barboza down some. Both are giving shots to take shots, and these guys are trying to end this fight. Barboza lands a left hand and drops Martins with a jab, he moves to the top position and lands ground and pound until the ref saves Martins.

Round 1
Both feeling each other out. Lentz gets the action going with some leg kicks, and he clinches with Nunes to force him down. Still standing, Nunes gives up his back, but Lentz still trying to take him down. Every time he pulls him down, Nunes pops back up, Lentz is back riding landing punches, and is looking for rear naked choke. Nunes gets to his feet, but right back down. Nunes is eating punches in bunches as Lentz smothers him. This is rinse wash and repeat for Lentz, and its one way traffic.

Lentz is throwing strikes trying to close the distance, and he does and gets Nunes down. Lentz starts landing elbows from half guard, and Nunes is trying to tie up Lentz. Lentz is staying busy and landing shots, but Nunes has no answer for the wrestling and the strikes. Crowd begins to boo. Lentz takes the back with a minute left, but Nunes is hanging in there. Nunes scrambles to his feet, and lands a shot that drops Lentz. Round ends.

Nunes is definitely the more tired fighters, and Lentz shoots in but doesn’t get the takedown. Nunes wakes up, and lands a few shots, and he is stuffing the takedowns. Lentz shoots in, and takes down Nunes and goes back to work. Working from half guard, Lentz continues to mark up Nunes. Nunes scrambles up, but Lentz takes his back. Lentz takes him down again, and moves into mount. Nunes somehow gets up, but with 40 seconds left he needs a miracle. Nunes makes the ending a fight, and lands a clean shots to the chin of Nunes, but Lentz gets the takedown and the round ends

Round 1
Markes takes the center, and they start to measure each other up. After an exchange, Markes gets a takedown, but Craig is able to scramble up. Markes presses Craig up against the cage, and is working for a takedown. He gets one, but again Craig pops up. Still standing Markes moves to the back, and switches to a double leg, and gets him down. Craig looks very calm, he gets up, but Markes moves to the back and starts working for the rear naked choke. Craig reverses and ends on top, and the round ends.

Craig lands a leg kick early, and Markes goes in for the takedown that gets shrugged off. Markes gets a high crotch takedown, and Craig already working back up. Markes moves to half guard, and frames up a kimura. Craig defending well, and escapes but gives up his back for a second. Craig back to his feet, but Markes is just pressing him on the cage looking for the takedown. Ref breaks em up, and Craig throws a mean high kick that misses. Craig really stalking Markes as the round ends.

Markes shoots right in for the takedown, and pushes him up against the fence. They split up, and Craig lands a big right hand that drops Markes. Craig on top landing ground and pound from ½ guard. Craig landing big elbows, but Markes is surviving. Markes retains guards, and Craig starts landing ground and pound. Craig backs up, and makes him stand. Craig lands a knee, butt Markes clinches and the fight ends on the fence.

Round 1
Pepey opens up with a leg kick as the feel each other out. Vieira lands a nice switch kick tot he liver of Pepey. Pepey lands a right hand that looked to drop Vieira, but Vieira grabs a leg and gets a takedown. Pepey trying to lock down Vieira. Vieira starts landing shots from the top including a nice elbow. Pepey is staying active on his back, but Vieira is staying busy. Pepey scrambles to the feet after a transition, and Pepey lands a shot to the pills of Vieira. Break time. Pepey throws some wild punches to clinch, and he works to take down Pepey. Vieira switches it up, and takes Pepey down. Pepey scrambles up, and they start trading again.

Vieira comes out with a kick to the body, and Pepey throws one of his own but gets taken down for his troubles. Pepey staying busy from his back, but Vieira is staying busy. Pepey is framing up a kimura, and sweeps Vieira into mount. Pepey goes to work, and Vieira gives up his back. Pepey has him in a body triangle as he works for the RNC. Pepey staying busy with punches even though Vieira is defending the choke attempts well.

Pepey is the fresher fighter, and you can tell Vieira is looking for the takedown. Pepey is back to throwing fastballs for punches. Vieira is landing jabs and is trying to close the distance. Pepey is being more active and landing more, but Vieira is staying calm and looking for his shots. Two right hands from Vieira and a nice knee to the body of Pepey has him clinching with Vieira trying to get him down. Vieira drops down for a kimura attempt, but doesn’t get it. Vieira now working from guard. Ref stands them up. Pepey lands a nice combination, but he gets taken down before the third strike can land. Vieira begins working from mount again with 20 seconds left.

Tavares coming forward, but Nurmagomedov is circling on the outside. Nurmagomedov lands nice combination to open things up. Tavares is throwing punches, but its Nurmagomedov who is landing.Nurmagomedov drops Tavares with an uppercut, and follows him to the ground. Nurmagomedov goes to work with elbows and lands maybe ten before the ref stops the fight.

Round 1
Gonzaga lands a nice combination an shoots on Rothwell. Gonzaga has been taking down Rothwell but each time Rothwell jumps right back up. Gonzaga starts landing knees to the body with Rothwell against the cage. Ref breaks em up. Rothwell coming forward now, and they are back to feeling each other out. Rothwell is stalking Gonzaga but he seems to be having trouble pulling the trigger. Gonzaga lands some nice jabs, and is backing up Rothwell. Gonzaga dives for a single, and Rothwell stops it. Gonzaga lands a few shots, and the round ends.

Rothwell stalking early, but Gonzaga lands a nice right hand. Gonzaga lands two straight right hands, that seem to stun Rothwell. Gonzaga fakes a takedown and Rothwell sprawled. Gonzaga grabbed the neck, and then jumped guard with the guillotine. Gonzaga gets the tap.

Round 1
Sarafian bolts to the center, but Dollaway looks light on his feet. Measuring each other up, but Sarafian lands a nice combination and backs up Dollaway. Dollaway lands a nice body kick, but eats a right for his trouble. Sarafian lands a nice hook that drops Dollaway, and after some GNP he scrambles up. Everytime Dollaway throws a leg kick, Sarafian lands a huge hook. Sarafian seems to have him timed early in the fight. Dollaway is trying to land strikes and get the takedown, but Sarafian is just to quick and is frustrating Dollaway.

Dollaway pumping his jab early, but Sarafian is staying in the pocket and landing jabs of his own. Sarafian forces the clinch, and goes for the takedown. Dollaway defending well. Sarafian is also working the body shots well. Sarafian lands a nice hand and almost gets Dollaway to the mat. Hardest shot of the fight. Both are trading jabs, and Sarafian almost lands a big shot. Dollaway lands a nice right hand himself, but Sarafian doesn’t even blink. Dollaway is just not using his reach. Sarafian dives in for a takedown and eats a huge uppercut from Dollaway. Dollaway swarms and almost gets the finish.

Sarafian is working for the rear naked choke. Dollaway reverses but Sarafian scrambles up and lands a nice knee on Dollaway as the round ends.

Belfort lands a nice body kick, and Bisping looking to jab.
