Vitor Belfort: “It’s not going to be a fun time for Bisping.”

Leading up to tonight’s headlining fight between UFC middleweights Vitor Belfort and Michael Bisping, “The Phenom” has opted to keep his nose to the grindstone and work on being physically ready for the rumble rather than occupying himself with unnecessary trash-talk. However, the brash Brit has taken a different approach to the UFC on FX 7 fight, criticizing Belfort for his association with banned substances while also questioning the Brazilian’s heart.

Instead of taking the bait, Belfort has remained quiet. The seasoned veteran recently explained why in an interview with the UFC’s website, promising to make Bisping pay when the cage door closes in Sao Paolo.

“I don’t care what he says or thinks about me. It doesn’t change anything and it doesn’t affect me at all. I don’t really care. I’m not going to entertain his talk. That’s it.”

“The best part of your life is today. That’s how I live my life. Today is the best day of my life. The most important thing to me is what’s next. Nothing in the past is going to be important right now. The most important things are the decisions you make today, the things you do today. The past is already gone.”

“It’s not going to be very good for him. He’s going to face deep waters. I’m ready to fight 25 minutes. It’s fun (for me). It’s not going to be a fun time for Bisping.”
