UFC "Ultimate Auction" Adds "Fight For The Troops 2" Octagon Canvas To Its Lavish List

For many different reasons, the Ultimate Fighting Championship has seen its fair share of controversies. Whether it be controversial President Dana White or utterly atrocious judge’s decisions, it always seems like another scandal is just right around the corner. However, the ufc continues to earn my respect and support for their continued support of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which can be seen both in their upcoming “Fight for the Troops 2” event and their “Ultimate Auction” series of auctions. In fact, the UFC recently announced several new, great pieces of memorabilia that have been added to the series. Since this is a good cause for an awesome charity, I’ve got no problem covering it and encouraging those of you that can, to give and give generously. Here are all the details.

Credit goes to MMA Junkie for the find, which brings us a new and complete list of things to bid on. The new list of items added to the auction includes the official Octagon mat of “Fight for the Troops 2” and several other interesting prizes. All proceeds of the auction will benefit the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

For those wondering, here are some of the more-interesting things that UFC fans with deep pockets and big hearts can place a bid on.

1. A UFC “VIP Experience” Package

2. The “Fight for the Troops 2” Octagon Canvas

3. A Custom-Made Camaro

4. Dinner with the UFC Octagon Girls

5. A Private Training Session with Randy Couture and Forrest Griffin

6. A Xbox 360 with Kinect and a Copy of “UFC Undisputed 2010” Signed by UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez

7. A “Real Life Ghost Hunter Experience”

8. A Trip to See the Season 8 Premiere of “Entourage”

And there’s even more! Visit the official page of the auction for individual links and full descriptions.

And remember, fans and friends, no amount is too small when it comes to a charity that raises money for veterans and the families of veterans. The first “Fight for the Troops” event managed to raise a staggering four million dollars for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, and that’s thanks to fans that gave what they could and supported this great cause.

For more information on the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, including ways to donate, please visit their official website, which you can find here.

If I had a couple thousand dollars lying around, I’d definitely put some coin down on these auctions. A lot of them seem like once-in-a-lifetime experiences, and I’m glad that the UFC is really bringing out the big guns in order to encourage fans to bid and bid often. At the time of this article’s publication, the UFC Camaro is already sitting at a cool $45,000 price point, and that’s with four days left until the auction closes.

So, what about you fans and friends? Any of you out there brave enough to put down some serious coin and try to win one of these awesome auctions? And just for fun, which one would you be most interested in if you had the money to spare?
