UFC Sweden: Gustafsson vs. Mousasi Announced

The UFC is headed back to Sweden for UFC Sweden: Gustafsson vs. Mousasi! According to UFC officials, Alexander Gustafsson and Gegard Mousasi will headline the card in a five-round light heavyweight fight on April 6. No other fights have been announced, but the card will take place at the Ericsson Globe Arena and is set to air on Fuel TV.

“Sweden is an incredible market for the UFC and we’re excited to once again bring a major UFC card to the Ericsson Globe Arena,” said Garry Cook, UFC Executive Vice President and Managing Director. “Alexander Gustafsson is a big star in Sweden and has quickly grown in popularity worldwide thanks to his success in the Octagon. We know the fans in Sweden will make the Ericsson Globe Arena an absolutely electric atmosphere as he takes on the very talented Gegard Mousasi on April 6.”

Mousasi is coming  off a knockout win over Mike  Kyle at the final Strikeforce card, and Gustafsson is riding a six-fight winning streak and last fought Mauricio Rua in early December.

“…has to be a contender bout”

    In the ufc?

I presume by “contender bout” you mean contenders endlessly fighting each other while title shots go to steroid cheats and tuf losers coming off losses.
