UFC officials have confirmed that middleweights Yushin Okami and Hector Lombard will meet at the UFC on Fuel 8 card in Japan. The bout is scheduled to take place Sunday March 3 at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo and will air March 2 in North America.
The fight may also prompt fans to Tweet UFC President Dana White and matchmaker Joe Silva to ask if the pairing was put together just because of the competitors’ nicknames, i.e. “Thunder” vs. “Lightning”.
