The UFC made it clear bantamweight star Ronda Rousey was an important asset last month by handing her a headlining slot at UFC 157 despite having never fought inside the Octagon before. Furthering their support of the unbeaten champion, the organization has also decided to feature Rousey’s clash with Liz Carmouche on UFC Primetime.
Past versions of the long-running series have featured the likes of Brock Lesnar, Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre, and Anderson Silva. The first episode is slated to air at 12:00 AM EST/9:00 PM PST on February 8 with subsequent shows on February 15 and February 22.
UFC 157 is scheduled to take place on February 23 in Anaheim, California. Rousey’s meeting with Carmouche marks the first female match-up in UFC history.

i watched both ladies train and I have watched fights for UFC for YEARS even when it was the UFC house and before that. I use to watch when Ice Man was fighting and I love to watch him fight. I have never thought a fight was fixed but this one has me second guessing my first thoughts of this sport. I watched both these lades train and I have a very strong feeling this was fixed. Rousey does NOT have the ability to beat Carmouche. I have looked at both girls stats and I don’t even believe this happened. Liz is a MUCH better fighter. I cant believe Dana White let this happen. I use to have a lot of respect for him. But my friends and I are really upset he let this happen. But hey anything for money huh? Hope Rhonda got a lot of money for this fixed right. UFC needs to be looked at a little closer now. Liz you have ALOT of support out here and I do mean ALOT. I know of 3 to 7 hundred of people not wanting to watch or even think about the UFC ever again. Best of luck to you and yours Dana White I hope you over come this.
