Invicta FC 5 to Feature Sarah Kaufman and Two Title-Fights

Invicta FC kicked off their 2013 last night in Kansas City at Memorial Hall, and after the event the promotion announced that they will hold their fifth event in April. Set to fight on the card, former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman will make her promotional debut though an opponent has not yet been named.  Kaufman has been out of the cage since losing to current UFC champion Ronda Rousey last August.

The event will also feature two championship fights. First, Invicta FC will crown its inaugural flyweight champion with a fight between Vanessa Porto and Barb Honchak. Then,in the main event, atomweight Jessica Penne will defend her belt for the first time against a yet-to-be-announced adversary.

An exact date for the event has not yet been named either.
