Bellator made its Spike debut on Thursday with two episodes of their new show Bellator 360. The preliminary numbers are in for the promotion’s unveiling on the network, and as a whole they averaged 487,000 viewers. Specifically, that’s more than twice the amount of viewers drawn by Bellator’s past Friday night fight cards on MTV2. Though there is no real precedent to compare the numbers to, Spike TV Executives are pleased with the response from fans…
SVP of Communications David Schwarz told MMAWeekly:
“We drew just under a million viewers (in total) without heavy promotion. We are very encouraged by it… especially with the growth in the second hour.”
